Gloom I've spent the last two nights configuring my new server with a view of running the clownguild website. It's a time-consuming task and I don't think I'll be able to get the new logos uploaded until that's done.

I've had to
- Configure DNS settings on both my new and old hosts
- Install and configure an FTP server
- Install and configure PHP and MySQL
- Install and configure Apache
- Upload several hundred meg of files.
- Export the data from the current database and import it into the new database for testing purposes.
- Upgrade the code on the new server to support MySQL 5.x

I still have to finalise that last point and perform any necessary fixes/optimisations before I can even start thinking about transferring the old site to the new server - and that will probably not go smoothly either. I suspect we'll have about three hours of downtime. This is all done in my free time, in between other things like cooking and working and making excuses for why I can't make many phone calls to certain people.

Uploaded them.

CLOWN_Lite has the logo in the centre, CLOWN to the left. Which do you think is better?

Can the blue backgrounds (headers) be changed to the darkred used on CLOWN? That way the default theme can use one of the new logos and still look rather good for the casual visitor?

CLOWN, CLOWN_red, CLOWN_lite & CLOWN_mini:
They all look good. New logos are all displayed to the left (wich looks good).

The default theme is a pain - it's not the default theme but a theme called "default" which holds a lot of code required by the site. The site therefore complains when I delete it so it has to stay, unfortunately it looks completely different to the other themes.

The actual default theme at the moment is set to "CLOWN" - the only way users can use the theme called "default" is if they manually select it after registering so casual visitors will still see the CLOWN theme.

Looks like you're using Internet Exploder. In a proper browser like Firefox/Opera the images are displayed to the middle as the browsers obey the embedded tags. I will change it so they display to the left in those browsers too Wink

yea, I was using IE and thought ILL NEVER CHANGE IT you b...!

then it didn't work once...and I thought oh well, let's download firefox...
