You "HAD" to be nice to others.
This explains why you all were so nice to me! You knew my nightmare would kill you if you weren't! And here I thought you truely were being nice. Well that will teach me to think you all don't have alterior motive for the things you do.
GEEZ.....TO think if I didn't have that nightmare, you all would have ignored me or PKed me. *shakeshead*
NOT that SOME of YOU didn't PK ME with YOUR alts just to watch my bloodpressure rise Not that SOME of YOU didn't STEAL from MY backpack with YOUR alts just to watch my temper flair. You know thinking back now, I am begining to wonder, if you all didn't keep me around just to give abuse to.
Brokenheartedly

I hated the whole PvP thing. Not just because I couldn't hit the broadside of a barn either. It always seemed to be such a "hate hate" thing.
I did attend server wars a couple times. got my butt handed to me everytime. (Never could find the person who was suppose to be there making sure I didn't die..I won't name any names...you know who you are)
I prefer the optional PvP and co excistance of freedom to choose if you want your butt handed to you often, sometimes, or not at all. But I do understand the other side of it. Some want to log on and get their frustrations out. I just prefer they not be at my expense HE HE
i also agree that most games are developed that you have to pick sides. On Gorath server in SWG, the fact I am an American there with Germans in itself has proven to be it's own war for me. (this is why I can now type german and partially pull of I am not american or least making an effort not to flaunt that I am)
The games being developed seem to be all. kill or be killed. Not exactly my cup of tea. Possibly because I am a female has a little something to do with it.
I dont like to kill and choose sides. Unless forced to do so.
By the way I am enjoying the fact this post has brought out the intelligence I know this guild contains. It's pretty impressive to see that some of you have grown into mature adults. It's also frightening to see how some of you have turned out LOL Just kidding guys!

Beeing able to kill anyone, any time and anywhere is essential in a "sandbox" mmorpg tbh, no mather if you like it or not (WITH HUGE RISK - ie stattloss for ex)
. But it is like gloom said, the "CS" kids today - see everyone as a Target, especielly with diffrent factions/races, and thus creating a total mayham.
In UO - you knew that ANYONE could kill you, no mather if he was blue, grey or red. YOU hade to behave - no smack /trash talk. If some one did something wrong - ppl would kill him... that, and the feeling of never ever beeing SAFE is what made UO such a great game.
The real PKs knew - that if they died, their char was pretty much deletable.

Don't worry, I'll get it put away again as soon as possible!
Having only had experience with WoW, and over a year ago now, I wish I'd been around in the UO days to compare and contrast. But for me personally it would be nice to have a very open MMOG that doesn't require too much grinding and that you can get a meaningful experience with only playing a few hours a week rather than having to spend several marathon four/five hour sessions playing it to get anywhere. Something where the game has a more social aspect than just levelling up. But maybe that's impossible.
CLOWN has undoubtably changed, but I do believe that when I get to a point in my life when I'm ready to play a new game I know I can do it with friends and a community that is different and special.
And if all else fails, there'll always be Affie to mock...

wait a second!?!
I thought it was Milk who lost a coat...... or is Milk and Affie the same person?!?
I guess a wig and a selection of stick-on-facial hair would fool the casual observer......you both certainly drink about the same.....I am now slightly confused and more than a little concerned

I never needed UO for this..Just hanging around with all you CLOWNs is the same....Never being safe...
You all would have killed me in heartbeat if I wasn't so human.

If you tried to kill me...What great excuse do you have for not being able to kill me?
Was it my wit and charm? Was it because I am a female? Was it my nightmare? Was it the fact you just were to lame to kill me? Or did you just love me too much? Come on there Mr. Big put your money where your mouth is and explain to me why you failed.
Maybe I was just lucky enough to have a few guardian CLOWNs that always had my back no matter where I was in game.
TO my guardian CLOWNs, you know I am forever grateful for you watching my back. To the CLOWNs that tried to kill me. I am glad I could be a target.
