Don't know if it is true or not but thought I'd share
In these days of uncertain financial futures for us all I thought that you'd appreciate a little investment advice that recently came my way:
If you had purchased £1000 of Northern Rock shares one year ago it would now be worth £4.95. With HBOS, earlier this week your £1000 would have been worth £16.50. £1000 invested in XL Leisure would now be worth less than £5. But if you had bought £1000 worth of Lager one year ago, drank it all, then took the empty cans to an aluminium re-cycling plant, you would get £214.
So based on the above statistics the best current investment advice is to drink heavily and re-cycle.

Pie stocks have been hit pretty bad by the credit crunch.
Yup, I'm down to the last few boxes

On the plus side, the credit is very crunchy and is very nice on cornflakes.

I think there is something terribly wrong with CLOWN logic but I just can't figure out what it is!

I can. It makes perfect sense to me!
OK, so no-one understands me when I explain, but that's their problem!

If you don't understand CLOWN logic. Your in the right place. If you do understand CLOWN logic you have definite isues with too much time on your hands. NEVAH question the logic of CLOWN. What is is and what isn't isn't.
It's like the whole theory of "which came first? the chicken or the egg?" Who cares....it just is and wthout chickens and eggs we wouldn't have chicken or eggs... LOL
See This is what happens when you play with logic. You end up with Cleo thinking and explaining which is proof point....CLOWN logic is very understandable given the proper amount of time and the proper explaination LOL
Yours,
Cleo

The problem is, or rather one of the problems, for there are many,
a sizable number of which are continually clogging up the civil, commercial, and criminal courts in all areas of the Galaxy,
and especially, where possible, the more corrupt ones, this.
The previous sentence makes sense. That is not the problem.
This is: Change. Read it through again and you'll get it.
