I'd try to get a SerialATA (SATA) one. 320GB SATA drives retail for £70GBP at the moment (dunno what that is in Euros).

Yeah, a case is a case is a case. Just make sure there's plenty of room for fans and extra hard disks etc. Also some USB ports on the front are useful (pretty standard now).

Sounds like it's an onboard sound system. For most people that doesn't matter nowadays - onboard sound has come on in leaps and bounds.

Thanks, the idea is to have silent components.

Also I'm a musician, kind of...composer student etc. so that's why I need the new computer. It doesn't hurt having a good enough Graphics card though.

I didn't want a Mac though...like all the others :P.

Sibelius 4.1 mostly, Reason is nice too but it's a EDIT: virtual music studio...was thinking about cubase Very Happy

I'm concentrating on music theory and composing Classical music...when I'm good enough I can take a side branch and start making pop etc. hits that rock the nationZ. Razz
