Apple released a program called Boot Camp. It enables you to install windows on your mac with all the correct drivers.
The brand new iMac's will run Vista 64 or XP or normal Vista. There is also a couple of external companies that do stuff that let this happen.. but in different ways.
The Apple method means you create a space on your hard drive and install and run windows like, well windows!
Other methods - Parallels Desktop - this allows you to run Windows inside Mac OS. So you can be running all the apple stuff and have a window with XP or Vista running on it. There is another way Fusion by VMware - this is slightly different from that, possibly better. It lets you run Windows application (games?) within Mac OS - this version is possibly second best to running Vista or XP through the Apple method. From what I hear it's fast and fluid.
