Ello lunies.

Been a while since I have logged in to anything gaming on the grounds that I have emigrated to Canada. However, it's too warm to ski atm (its bloody falling as rain on the mountains bah!) so I have been trialling Rift.

Not a bad game all in all. If you want to try it, you can use this code to try it out. It has 25 activations, so first come first served! Gubbins copied from the email sent to me.

Long time no hear! Ah, you did move to Canada. Sweet! I hope you're all happy and content over there. Where did ya end up - west or east coast - or in the darn middle?

Fugly has been talking about Rift (he's in) so Im def going to give this a try. Cheers bro!

Been testing on a pvp server, picked the german one going well so far, will be playing on release but over on a English server Smile

Sorry for the delay in response; been busy being a Hausfrau and cooking dinner for ever and a day!

G, we landed over in Vancouver on the West Coast. Mountains and sea, so its a really heady mix of things to do. Snowboarding in Winter, and sea kayaking in Summer. Marvellous.

Been giving the Alpha a bit of a going over, and the thing that I am really enjoying is the diversity open to you...tanking rogue? No problem sir, that is available (and pretty bloody good to play too!).

I will be headed to a North American RP/PvP server, and after having been on a PvP server for most of the time, I think this is where player-driven content will really shine. It has more of a feel of DAoC open-world conflict, but without the gates.

There is nothing intrinsically groundbreaking about Rift, but its bloody good at nabbing the best bits from all the other games and implementing them cleverly, so its well worth a look.

Mini, I would have thought there are a fair few left, but if there aren't give me a shout and I will send you my individual beta invite. I am the alpha servers atm, so I wont bother changing over before the Headstart in two weeks.
