Questions

1. What is the name/class/level/spec/profession of your character?
Van
Caldari Navy Schooled Fighter
Approaching 2 million sp
All learning skills to at least L3 with some tier II's - others are mostly in combat orientated areas
No profession but I'm keen to learn sir!

2. Why do you want to join CLOWN?
Cause I heard it's a great kick arse Corp sir, sorry about my language sir

3. Do you know a CLOWN member already? If so, who?
Know one or two and they're just great people sir

4. How old are you?
31 sir

5. Have you been in any other guilds?
Sir, no sir!

6. If yes to Q5 which and why did you leave?
That's a negative sir

8. Where and how did you hear about CLOWN?
Found a not stuck to the door of my pod sir.

Although I did it to kind of illustrate a point, the thread is not in the WoW section but that's only what it applies to.... that application is from my Caldari Eve character and is posted 'in character' as I'm trying to roleplay him a little bit

Light I'd appreciate it if instead of trying to "illustrate a point" you'd contribute to the relevant thread discussing the applications forum. It doesn't take much to have a quick skim through the Clown Hall forum.

Yes I know it's quite WoW-centric. Yes I want to change it. No, no-one's given me ANY feedback whatsoever about it. It's quite frustrating enough trying to get this fixed without any satirical sniping going on.

it's was also done to bring a smile to a few faces.
I wasn't trying to frustrate or satirically snipe you (check's ammo for satirical rounds).... or anyone else for that matter.

I'd delete it all although it'll make the other comments seem a bit out of place Smile

By all means delete the top post if it's frustrating or creates a wrinkle on the site.

I thought there were several people who could 'administer' the site? Can't one of them move it?

No its good to have a couple of comical applications here and there.

I'm only a bit miffed if you intended it as criticism of our applications forum as there are better ways of doing this.

No I didn't intend it at criticism, I'd like to think you know me a little better than that... I intended it to point something out. I know I was late to give feedback on this site when it was launched but I did when you prompted me, some of it in posts some of it direct AS YOU SIT 6 FEET FROM ME!!! Very Happy
I wasn't aware of the other thread, although I've posted there now that you've pointed me to it.

This curiousity was actually pointed out to me by someone from another game that was curious about posting an application but just got confused and asked me ingame what it was all about.


Anyway.... back to the original post.... Van gets my vote Smile

there's a corp in eve that all the clowns are in.... but we don't run it yet..... Very Happy
