I do have a new game for the Wii tho, Boom Blocks, a big thumbs up! Nice and casual gameplay, especially when playing against somebody else.

Looks like a fun game, might try it out. I did get the Wii Fit, but it failed me after two weeks. Hehe
Got lots of games for the 360 atm. Found out that I could flash it and tata, I'm downloading games 24/7

As Morri said we're still playing WoW. I'm looking forward to Starcraft 2 and also to blizz's rumoured new Diablo game. |
Ah, looking forward to Starcraft2. Would love to play some multiplayer games together on that one.
I did just pay for a month for AoC now. I joined up with the exalted on a RP-PvP server.
The game is OK imo, not good. Hopefully the pvp patch will add more life to the game. Making everything have lots of instances, removes the massive feeling.
Then we got WAR. I got wet dirty dreams that CLOWNs will be back with an active guild there. The game got flaws for sure, but hopefully they fix it up for release.
I just love that you can sign up to Scenarios(Battlegrouds) at lvl 1 and level up from PvP play.
Guilds also gains levels as players PvP, giving the guild new stuff.
The guild can run around with banners in pvp giving bonuses and adding more tactic to the game.
Wondering a little how the side balance will be. There is always more players on the destruction side. Normal ratio is 400 destruction and about 150 order.
I stop rambling about my war dreams now

I haven't played the WAR beta now for quite some time, may have to check in on it again.. When I last played the general concept of things was great and PVP (or actually RVR) seems to be a huge part of the game compared to other games, especially as you can actually go from lvl 1 to the level cap and more or less only do RVR.. Guilds are also meant to play an integral part of the game, which is great. But as I was beginning to say, when I last played, there were so many buggy things that kept ticking me off.. But hey, it's beta. All of those things had with balance, polish and interface to do.. Logged in yesterday, and the game is looking a lot better now graphically at least =)
Concerning sides.. I believe that the population will change in real game vs beta.. A lot of "hardcore" and enhusiast players that are in the beta will definitely go "bad" while most kiddies buying the game will go "good". That's my guess at least.. Kinda like WoW.. Alliance sucks monkeyb*lls. No offense.
Well.. My ramble comes to an end here to. Time to get back to work.
Take care out there Clowns.

The PVP system of WAR does seem to be an ideal one. It looks promising sofar, but when I look at the graphics it appears to me that its all a bit "rough on the edges"? It doesn't realy feel very polished, but that might just be a bad impression that I'm experiencing now.

But on the other side its always fun to be the so called 'under-dog' in a game like this. Chosing the side with the least amount of players is something I can life from
How many CLOWN's are testing the game out now by the way? Would love to see more personal input on game mechanics and general judgement.
Well thats it...time for work work work.... *sobs*

I was being unclear on this one... I meant that the balance will change when the game is released and thus making the sides more equal and probably even the "good" side more numerous. But that's just a guess.
The graphics have definitely been bad and still not great, but this has probably to do with beta. I think it's safe to say that the game is going to get a lot more attention from the graphics guys the closer to launch we get...

Not 100% sure about this, but from what I understand. The gfx in the beta is not running on high.
I also like the idea about the "under-dog" side. And of course I love dwarfs

Morning loons!
Hope everyone here had a good weekend? I know I did, enjoyed some good rest & recreation.

I've not seen anyone suggest is that they may be making an announcement about each of the existing ones.
Possibly a launch date for WOTLK, a launch date for Starcraft 2.. and news of Diablo 3?
Will be interesting to see the splash screen tomorrow |
You hit the nail on the head there Slin! Now we've got 3 things to look out for in the 'near future'! On one hand its very slightly dissapointing, I had eagerly hoped they might have introduced a new MMORPG title...but alas.
Not that these 3 titles are bad of course
But still one can wish, can't he?
Now I command thee all to work and give thy pies to me!

I'm just about to get into Warcraft 3 multiplayer again. Ordered the Frozen Throne expansion (£7 delivered from Play.com!) and might have a go through the single player levels as well as on Battle.Net. I suck at RTS games though - can beat computer players ok, but PvP makes me cry
Up til now I've been playing Freelancer again and Transport Tycoon Deluxe (until I realised the latter is even more grindy than WoW, and the former is a little formulaic).
I'd like to play another MMORPG but I concede I probably don't have the time. Would like to dedicate one night a week to gaming though - either CS: Source, Team Fortress 2, Warcraft 3 or whatever. Probably looking like Thursdays at the moment.

you guys say u need something new and exciting!!!
How about something old and amazing??
Lineage 2 - IMO still the best MMORPG on the market (sorry to you wow fans) but from screensshots i've seen + game play on both L2 has so much more to offer the fun never ends its not like u hit max lvl and then game over. you start over subclass im sure some of u know this form playing!!
But seriously wether u play retail or on a private server this is a truely amazing game!!
Jst my 2 cents.

Mornin everybody!
How are we all faring today? Its been a couple of busy weeks on the work...especially with all the people on holiday now.. *grrrrr, shakes fist in a certain manner*
But on the bright side I get to go to Stavanger, Norway next week for my work. And I was of course wandering if any CLOWN might live in the neighbourhood? Just for an ale or two...
So where has everybody gone to on their holidays?
Cheers!

Hey all
Kids break up from school next week and will be home for 6 weeks
I have plenty of odd jobs for them to do to keep them busy
We've got an ultrasound scan next week, hoping to find out if this one is a boy or a girl.
I hope you are all ok and enjoying yourselves
Take care.
